Fruit Picnic · Effective October 26, 2026

Fruit Picnic is a small puzzle game. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell or share your information for advertising.

What stays on your device

The game saves a few things on your phone or in your browser so it remembers you: your best score, your sound, vibration and theme settings, whether you’ve seen the tutorial, and, if you use the leaderboard, your leaderboard name, a random player number, the groups you’re in and any players you chose to hide. Deleting the app (or clearing the website’s data in your browser) removes all of it.

The friends leaderboard (optional)

Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to post a score. When you type a name and tap Post, the game sends:

After your first post, the game keeps your best score up to date on the board each time you finish a game. Your name and score are shown to everyone who plays the game. Please don’t use your full real name.

The leaderboard is stored with Supabase, the database service we use. Like any web service, Supabase receives your internet (IP) address when the game connects to it and may keep it briefly in technical logs. We don’t save it with your score.

Friend groups (optional)

You can start a leaderboard group or join one with a code. We store the group’s name and code, and which player numbers are in it. Anyone with the code can join and see the names and scores of the group’s members. When the last member leaves, the group is deleted.

Keeping names friendly

Names are checked against a list of words that aren’t allowed. If you tap Report name, we store that your player number reported that name. A name reported by two players shows as “Picnic Player” until we review it. Hide this player only hides them on your own device and isn’t sent anywhere.

Removing your score

Open the leaderboard (🏆) and tap Remove me from the leaderboard. Your name, score, group memberships and reports are deleted right away. You can also contact us below and we’ll remove them for you.

The website

The website version is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, receives your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the pages.

Children

Fruit Picnic is fine for all ages. The only thing a player ever enters is a leaderboard nickname, and posting is optional. Parents can ask us to remove a child’s score at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
